Mr. Jurgensen is a strategist, attorney and entrepreneur with over 22 years experience in business strategy, corporate formation, fundraising, corporate partnering, business development and intellectual property in a wide variety of industries, including life sciences, consumer products, high technology and professional services.  He has deep legal experience in Corporate and Securities Law, Intellectual Property, Dispute Resolution and all varieties of Agreements.

Mr. Jurgensen has been the Founder of five companies, including Optima Law Group, Qi Matrix, Urigen, Inverseon and Allylix, Inc., an industrial biotechnology company that completed a venture round of over $9MM in early 2010.  Mr. Jurgensen co-founded Allylix in 2002, previously served as the Company’s President, CEO, General Counsel, Chairman and Board Member, and was involved in the raising of over $18MM in funding, including the current venture round.  He has served as a senior executive, advisor and on numerous for-profit and not-for-profit Boards in a number of organizations, including Allylix, Medwaves, Molecular Biosystems, The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, The Nicholas Conor Institute and The California Center for Sustainable Energy.  In addition, he served as Associate General Counsel for Ligand Pharmaceuticals and as Intellectual Property Counsel for 3M Corporation.

Mr. Jurgensen obtained his J.D. from the University of Oregon, his M.S. from Iowa State University and a B.S. in Biology and Chemistry, from the University of Wisconsin.
