In my practice, I enjoy a dual role. First, I serve as a de facto chief in-house counsel for the North American arm of a successful Russian premium spirits company. I advise the company’s shareholders and management on a wide array of domestic and international matters, including litigation and employment issues, contract drafting and negotiation, corporate governance, compliance, internal policy making, and outside counsel management. My practice is focused on supporting the business objectives of a rapidly growing business; this gives me a unique edge as a business facilitator. I also advise and represent entrepreneurs and businesses in commercial transactions and litigation matters in Massachusetts and other states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia. My focus is on achieving the desirable results with maximum efficiency in time and money.
Previously, I served as General Counsel/Chief Legal Officer of a multi-billion dollar diversified holding company with interests in consumer banking, premium spirits manufacturing and distribution, and insurance in Moscow, Russia. I provided counsel to the company’s top decision-makers while maintaining focus on efficiency and cost reduction. I also successfully represented this company in substantial disputes in Russia and abroad. Previously, I worked as a senior attorney specializing in international litigation and arbitration for the world’s largest aluminum producer.
