Michael Einbinder is a commercial litigator who practices in a variety of general litigation areas (including franchise law) for not just franchisors and franchisees but also, for example, textile companies and commercial banks and mortgage lenders. Mr. Einbinder represents clients in matters involving multi-million dollar claims of breach of contract, fraud and other business torts, and intellectual property issues. Mr. Einbinder represents clients in trials, arbitration, and mediation throughout the country. He also counsels startup and existing franchise clients on the development and structuring of franchise programs.  

Mr. Einbinder is a participating member of the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the International Franchise Association, the New York State Bar Association Committee on Franchising, and the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (Panel Memberships on Franchise Law, Commercial Law and Commercial Litigation). He is also a Member of the American Association of Franchisees and Dealers and the American Franchisee Association, where he served on the Legal Symposium Steering Committee. Mr. Einbinder has been listed among the top franchise lawyers as a “Legal Eagle” by Franchise Times for the past five years, and he is a frequent speaker on franchise issues at events hosted by the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, the American Franchisee Association, the International Franchise Association Legal Symposium, and the New York City Bar Association CLE program, as well as quarterly seminars presented by the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce and NYC Business Solutions. Mr. Einbinder is also a co-author of a Franchise Litigation Handbook recently published by the ABA Forum on Franchising.
