Serving start-up's and small businesses has been my passion for 25 years. Since college I am proud to have established, managed, and counseled scores of dynamic small businesses from around the country in fields as diverse as import/export, title insurance, real estate development, architecture, technology, healthcare, medical products, professional practice, and others.
I have been the principal of M. Hedayat & Associates, P.C. since 1995. In 1997 I earned my Series 7 and 63 securities licenses. In 2001 I established legal information portal eLawCentral.com. In 2004 I became owner and President of Aegis Title Company. Most recently I co-founded debt negotiation and credit management firm CRC.
I attended the University of Chicago and the University of Michigan, where I earned a BA from the Honors College. I obtained an MBA from the U.M. Ross School of Business. I got my JD from the DePaul University College of Law, where I established and edited the Journal of International Law.
When I can, I like to go mountain biking and spend time with my family. But most of the time you'll find me at the office.
