Leah is a co-founder and partner of Clarity Law Group. She helps small companies succeed in all their life stages: formation, phases of growth and change, financing, and exits. Her focus is on entrepreneurship and closely held companies.
She advises clients on a broad spectrum of legal issues, such as contract negotiation and legal preparation for strategic expansion. She also advises directors and officers on their legal obligations and corporate matters in general.
Leah, who holds a degree in physics from Stanford University, also works with technology licensing and the laws that relate to technology development. She served as a contributing editor of the Michigan Telecommunications and Technology Law Review and has worked at Fermilab and Argonne National Laboratory.
In addition to growth companies, Leah has represented large institutions and major banks. Her experience includes a large number of commercial lending transactions and M&A deals. She has represented both buyers and sellers, with purchase prices ranging from under $50,000 to over $500 million.
Leah currently serves in local government as an appointed public official. Her responsibilities include reviewing proposed developments, such as cancer research facilities and a new school, in her hometown.
