Kevin Thompson practices primarily in the area of domestic and international trademarks, copyrights, and internet law issues. He is experienced with prosecuting international applications under the Madrid Protocol, and coordinates clients' trademark portfolios in over seventy five countries, including the European Union. Kevin counsels clients in the selection, clearance, and maintenance of trademarks. He advises them with respect to enforcement of rights, and assists in representing them in disputes around the world to protect their valuable intellectual property. Kevin has been with the firm since 1999, and was named as a member in 2010.
Kevin is the author of the legal weblog Cyberlaw Central. With the tagline "the digital world, its impact, and legal framework" as its guide, Cyberlaw Central focuses on the legal implications of the Internet as well as its impact on society. The blog’s content includes discussion of security issues, internet governance, and recent cases.
