Kenneth J Labach is a commercial attorney supporting small and medium-sized business clients for over 12 years. For the last 10 years, Ken has worked as the sole in-house counsel at Datalex, an Irish publicly-traded software company selling software products and services to the travel industry.
He has developed a wealth of experience working both the customer and vendor sides of software product sales and purchases, product development, custom development, development and support outsourcing, application service provider and hosting arrangements and service level agreements and support and maintenance. He has also worked extensively with software developers and systems engineers establishing rules and guidelines to meet data privacy and security needs including developing privacy policies and complying with EU Data Protection Directive, SOX and PCI requirements.
Ken is a member of the State Bar of New York and the District of Columbia Bar. He is also a member of the New York City Bar Association and it's Information Technology Committee. Ken received his law degree from Duke University in 1997 and following law school worked as an associate at the Washington DC office of Ballard Spahr Andrews and Ingersoll.
