John A. Lewert Lawyer Profile | FizzLaw

As a general practitioner, John A. Lewert has practiced in a wide array of legal arenas. From business and civil litigation, to family and divorce law, to personal injury law, to criminal law, John has vigorously litigated on behalf of his clients in their personal and professional capacities. Litigation can be an intimidating time for those parties involved. In representing his clients, Mr. Lewert strives, not only to defend his clients rights, but also give them peace-of-mind.

Attorney John A. Lewert attended law school at the DePaul University College of Law, where he was a recipient of The DePaul College of Law Dean's Scholarship. John additionally acted as the business manager of the Business Law Journal at DePaul.

John served as legal clerk to Judge Norman A. Mordue in the Federal District Court for the Northern District of New York. While clerking for Judge Mordue, John was exposed to law, not from the plaintiff's or defendant's perspective, but through the eyes of the judge. John has carried that experience into his practice today.

Upon leaving New York, John worked in a small general practice firm, representing a wide variety of client's needs. Upon garnering years of experience in a general practice, Mr. Lewert opened his own office, working as a sole-practitioner. In his time as a sole-practitioner, John has aggressively represented multi-state clients in everything from personal injury cases, to family law, to business litigation, to real estate law.
