Hays Ellisen advises individuals and business on corporate, transactional and real estate matters. Prior to forming Shahmoon & Ellisen LLP, Mr. Ellisen was a partner and co-chair of the structured finance practice group and TARP Task Force at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP. Mr. Ellisen also practiced law for over ten years at McKee Nelson LLP and Sidley Austin Brown & Wood LLP and served as a judicial law clerk on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals.
Mr. Ellisen received a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Norwegian from the University of Minnesota and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
