Elizabeth Lewis

The Law Office of E.C. Lewis, P.C. provides legal services to small businesses in Denver Metro Area and Front Range including advice for LLCs, Corporations, Partnerships, and Non-Profits, employment and independent contractor agreements, non-compete or non-disclosure agreements, registration of trademarks and copyrights, software licensing contracts, and help with online marketing laws including website documentation (i.e. privacy and copyright policies, terms of service, etc).

Following the advice that she has given hundreds, Elizabeth Lewis opened her own law firm in January of 2010, specializing in business,intellectual property, technology, and online law. Previously, she worked for both a small boutique law firm and the technology transfer office of a large public university.  She has worked on software licensing, non-compete, employment, and business contracts. Prior to attending CU Law School, Elizabeth worked at Experian, one of the largest credit bureaus in the country providing IT support as part of the email-marketing department.

Elizabeth Lewis is a native of Denver, Colorado. She has attended Holy Family High School, Metropolitan State College of Denver (Bachelor of Arts), and Regis University (Masters of Science). She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado Law School and continues her legal education taking Continuing Legal Education classes from the Colorado Bar Association and Denver Bar Association on a regular basis.

Elizabeth regularly participates in the Denver Bar Association and Colorado Bar Association. She recently was named the first head of the New Lawyer’s Division of the Business Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.  Elizabeth is active in her community as the co-chair of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership Legislative Action Committee, participating regularly at Fax Partnership and other business and technology events. She is a legal adviser with the Colorado Girls In Tech organization, a member of the Denver Bar Association’s Mentorship Committee, and a member of the Colorado Bar Association’s Membership Committee.

In her free time, she loves spending time with her family which recently increased with the birth of her son and enjoying all that her home state has to offer, including hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and climbing 14ers with her husband and dog.
