Before founding Kalia Law P.C., Claire worked at a top international law firm in Silicon Valley, where she advised some of the Valley’s most successful and well-known companies. Claire has represented prominent companies in major M&A transactions, IPOs and financings, and has counseled startups, large public companies and small businesses on employment, compensation and benefits, and general business issues. She has extensive experience advising clients on compensation arrangements, health and welfare plans, parental leave and state and federal employment laws, stock plan administration and tax issues, and preparing equity plans, employment and separation agreements, securities filings, confidentiality agreements, bylaws, articles of incorporation, operating agreements and board resolutions.
Claire graduated from UCLA Law School, where she was Managing Editor of UCLA Law Review and Chair of the Immigration Law Clinic.
