Prior to Align, he practiced law at Fish & Richardson, a national law firm specializing in intellectual property matters. While practicing law at Fish & Richardson, Bao represented large, multi-national technology companies in intellectual property matters. He had worked with a variety of clients including Adobe, Align Technology, Auspex, Compaq, Intel and the University of California, among others.
Bao received his J.D. degree from the University of Houston Law Center, M.B.A from Columbia University and Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. Bao is licensed to practice law in California, Texas, and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
