Amrita graduated Cum Laude from Seattle University School of Law and received a CALI award for best performance in Payment Law. During law school, she interned for the American Civil Liberties Union of Washington and the Washington Credit Union League.
Apart from regular practice, Amrita volunteers for various organizations such as Washington Attorneys Assisting Community Organizations, Washington CASH legal clinic for micro-enterprises, Housing Justice Project at Kent, and the Eastside Legal Clinic. She is a member of the South Asian Bar Association of Washington and is fluent in Hindi.
