The title of this article is moderately misleading, in that "nostalgia" implies something from the past making a momentary return to relevance. This year's Super Bowl featured many brands which have remained relevant, strong, and (therefore) profitable for their owners for many years (in some cases, over 100 years!). This article reviews some of these brands, and highlights how long-lasting brands have been a common theme in Super Bowl commercials.
