Redskins’ intractable trademark troubles — or sportswriters’?

The Washington Redskins haven't won a Super Bowl since 1992, way back when Mark Rypien threw to Art Monk and Gary Clark.  Coincidentally (probably), as this article relates, that year saw the team become the subject of a lawsuit by a Native American seeking to force the team to change its name.  This article highlights recent news about the lawsuit (and a successor lawsuit), and concludes that the ongoing suit might just give Washington sportswriters a topic when the playoffs start without the Redskins.
