Parents Filed a Class-Action Lawsuit Against Apple Over Free Games That Aren’t Really Free

One group of applications which have risen in popularity on the backs of smartphones and social media has been "free" games which allow/encourage users to make purchases (with real money) to enhance their game experience.  This article reviews the results of a motion to dismiss a class-action lawsuit against Apple involving these types of games, which were played on an Apple device.  The article explains why developers of these games and the platforms hosting them might need to augment their disclosures should these decisions become a trend.
