The Small Business Capital Access and Job Preservation Act is a potential bill working its way through the U.S. House of Representatives.  The bill aims to exempt certain private equity funds from Investment Adviser ("IA") registration by creating a new category of exemption from IA registration for private equity funds.  In this blog post, Alex Davie details the proposed parameters of the House's bill.
