Key Lessons From the NYC Bar Association’s “How-to” of Successful Motion Practice CLE Panel

When laypeople think of litigation, many will think of trials dramatized in movies and television shows.  However, experienced litigators will typically tell you that the vast majority of their time is spent on preliminaries.  This article shares some tips for more effectively filing motions, which are one such preliminary (although admittedly rarely sufficiently glamourous to be portrayed in mass media).
