A fixed fee of $1,500 includes the following:
- Preparation and filing of Articles of Organization
- Preparation of Operating Agreement (including membership-transfer restrictions and buy-sell provisions)
- LLC records book, seal and membership certificates
- Completion of initial membership certificates (for signature by manager or managers) and membership transfer ledger
- All filing-related fees
- All associated counseling
Qualifications:
- Assumes that a member of the LLC has a social security number and, thus, can obtain the LLC's EIN. If there is no such member (often the case for established overseas companies coming to the U.S.), there is an additional charge of $500 to obtain an EIN (which must be done by telephone and fax, rather than online).
- Assumes standard Secretary of State turnaround time; for 24-hour, add $350.
