Data Security – Employees versus Contractors

Some companies that outsource jobs that require access to proprietary data are increasingly concerned over that security of that data in the hands of foreign actors. Brian Spross reassures these business' owners that the risk is not greater when dealing with an outsourced resource than with an employee because there are still remedies available to protect that intellectual property. While there may not be recourse against the individual, recovery against any company involved can be significant and effective to compensate for any damage done.
