Bully for Who?

Small businesses and startups are vulnerable targets to trademark bullying.  However, trademark bullying, although a legitimate fear, and obviously bad to be the target of, is ill-defined; how does one tell the difference between bullying and legitimate protection of valid intellectual property rights?  This article explains the difference between the two, and uses the NFL's Super Bowl trademark to illustrate how a trademark bullying campaign looks in practice.
