This article shares details about (and an example of) a relatively less-well-known but often highly effective tool in the trademark process.  As the article explains, a Letter of Protest (so capitalized because it has special meaning in the trademark process) can be a cheaper and quicker method of achieving the same results as an Opposition of Cancellation (two more widely utilized approaches).
