Given the relaxation of the restriction on general solicitation for Regulation D offerings (in other words, given that it will be easier for angel investors to put money into quality startups), what role will the much-touted crowdfunding exemption play?  This article points to a number of presentations on the topic, and suggests that the companies which seek equity crowdfunding might be the ones in which angel investors refuse to put their money.
